Senior Research Officer

Our client, a Central Government Department is looking for an experienced Senior Researcher to provide research evidence to inform on policy and operational activity relating to compliance.


The key responsibilities include:

- Designing survey and qualitative research projects

- Commissioning research projects from external research agencies

- Analysing the research and disseminating findings

- Managing customer relationships positively by providing high quality research advice, guidance and support

- Providing an intelligence service, advising colleagues about recent research work by other organisations


The key skills required for the post include

- Security cleared to at least CTC level

- Strong quantitative and qualitative research background

- Experience of using SPSS computer package

- Proven track record of commissioning research

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Public sector experience is essential
