Description: Security & Key Skills Training Consultant – Hampshire Based A Training Provider in the South East is seeking a Training Consultant to cover the Hampshire area. They specialise in the military transportation and security sectors and we are seeking to appoint a Training Consultant to train and assess learners in security and key skills. This is a fulltime permanent position based in Andover.
You will ideally have previous security training and NVQ assessing experience gained in a military environment. You will have an understanding of infantry based security operations at platoon and company level and have an understanding of key skills. It is essential that you have a clean drivers licence and be happy to travel to other regional offices from time to time. There will also be overseas travel on a fairly regular basis.
Duties include:
Delivery and assessment of apprenticeships and security training programmes Creating learner portfolios and preparing them for internal verification Delivery of various training courses Ideally you will be qualified as an NVQ Assessor (D32/33 or A1) and have a level 3 recognised qualification in English and a L2 in IT and numeracy. It is useful if you already have an ECDL and C&E vehicle license.
In return we can offer a starting salary of £24K increasing after 6 months to £25K Plus benefits including Life & Income Cover Insurance, BUPA, Pension, £15 per night when travelling.
